Hi there,
Ive had a betta before but he wasnt living a happy life.Being kept i the plastic bag ,that fish are kept in till you get home,at the LFS with at least 10 other males in these bags in the same tank. Well anyway,i bought him, without being advised not to buy to many fish at once, along with 8 other fish the same day! CRAZY I KNOW! So,quiet a few of the fish died, along with my betta!
SO,i want another one of these guys!!!!!!!!! But,i dont think i could convince my parents. They got me a bigger tropical tank for xmas and ive already asked for a marin tank, which ill hopefully be able to get later in the year. I just want this tank http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...p;rd=1&rd=1 WOuld i just need a 20 watt heater just for the betta?

A 20 or 25 watt heater should be fine for that tank. You might need to find a way to break the flow of the filter, I think they produce quite a strong current, but those tanks are pretty good fora single male Betta.
