The Fish is a Blue Betta Siamese Fighter. I did a water change on the 23rd, and I usually do them every 7 - 10 days. I added some fish around 10 - 11 days ago.

Pictures (A bit bad quality):

Some pictures are better than the other, so it might be best to check all pictures!

Please help, I am worried for my fish. Sorry about double posting, But I need people to see this thread.

Hmm. It seems no-on here knows about lumps and bumps. My gourami has a similar affliction and I got no response either. The LFS said it's either a cyst or tumor - both of which you apparently can't really treat unless you want to go down the vet route. I'm trying hospitalisation in a warm salt bath with bacterial infection medication but nothings happened yet.
Hope you have more success.

I think it maybe that the pics are not too clear, which is why no one has replied, sorry.

I'm afraid I couldn't make it out at all. So, rather than add meds if you are not sure what it is, keep the water really clean and change some every day. Saying that, some aquarium salt may help and I find melafix is great for healing. Be careful with the other fish in the tank though, so if you have a small tank he can be isolated in, use that. [Melafix has to be used in smaller doses than stated on the bottle, as their labyrinth organs can be damaged.]

Aw, THanks for the replies you guys!

I dont have a spare tank, so I cant treat it like that.
I'll get some high quality pics up tomorrow.

The main problem is the pictures are completely crap and you cant see the fish let alone th bump. Can you get a photo that you can see?

If it looks sore or open as if a wound then melafix and pristine water will help. If it looks like a lump under the skin could be a tumour could be something else.

Nope, sorry, still can't make out a lump. if you are using a camera now, use the macro setting, [looks like a flower symbol], zoom it a fraction and don't be too near the fish.
The pics come out better if you are not too close. Make sure you are focussed on the fish and not the background, and if you use a flash, angle the camera slightly to avoid the reflection. Not using a flash in not too good light will make the shutter speed slower and the pic will be blurry.

Hope this helps, this is how I take my photos so it may not agree with everyone. :good:
