I plan to breed bettas what should I feed the babies? I rather not raise live food.

From what I've read Betta fry will only take live food & Betta breeding isn't to be taken on lightly.
There are some Betta experts on here that I'm sure can tell you a lot more about it.

If you can not provide live food for the young fry then I do not recommend breeding bettas.

I don't breed Bettas unless you know what you are getting in to. It's a lot of work you have to feed live food and bbs is easy and cheap it's great for fry. If you don't want to have life food forget it.

Do you have room for 20 or more jars and how are you going to keep them heated. How are you going to clean the jars or filter them?

So unless you have time and money and know what you are getting into don't breed.

I'm willing to raise green water for the babies. I have room for the jars, and I will be doing daily water changes in them.

Green water is not going to be good enough past the first few days.  You need something bigger like BBS or micro/walter/banana worms for the first couple of weeks.  Do you have a reason why you are looking to breed bettas?  Honestly with your past experiences I would think you would be better off not trying to breed bettas.
