Whats that best kind of snail for cleaning my glass, wont reproduce like crazy (Little is ok, might allow me to get a puffer), and is ok with 3 female bettas and a few Cherry Shrimp. THanks

Ive found ramshorn snails to be excellent at keeping the class, substrate and plants clean, also malaysian trumpet snails are good, but I think ramshorn are better :)

if you dont want snails that reproduce get apple snails as they have seperate sex's unlike most snails and if you only have one apple snails thats all you will end up with
where as ramshorns etc if you have one you'll end up with lots in a small amound of time
also amano shrimp are good algae cleaners

I agree. Get some of both. :)

i love my black mysteries, i have had them for a month and still no offspring, i beleive there in the same family as apples but i don't think they get to the size of a apple.

Surprised nobodies mentioned nertite snails, eat much more algae off the glass than apple snails, and need brackish water to reproduce - so you can get lots of them.
