Best Non In-Line Co2 Diffuser

For anybody that wants a CO2 diffuser that produces a 'mist' and not a mixture of big and small bubbles, I was SO surprised that the £1.50 wooden diffusers from Maidenhead Aquatics are brilliant! Not sure if they work on DIY systems though, maybe somebody can let me know....also cheap enough to discard when they get too clogged!

I thought these wood diffusers was more akin to an airstone, suppose you could call it an airwood !
 
Which is normally used with air pump rather than co2 system ....
 
Can these wooden diffuser/airstone type be used for co2 diffusion, am not sure but be interesting to know this for certain.

My local MA has them with their CO2 stuff, and they produce far small bubbles than any glass diffuser I own, the 'mist' from mine goes into a powerhead and you can hardly see the bubbles in the tank, though they go everywhere....
