Best Looking Fake Plants ?

i recently got myself a nice little rusty plec, and was warned and even shown what it would do to plants in my tank. i still wanted the fish though, so now i need to do something about the decimated plants in my tank.

once he has sucked all the green off the leaves, leaving a patchy see through leaf skeleton, is that the end of the plant, or will it eventually recover ?

are there any fake plants that look particuarly realistic ?

or anything my plec wont eat.

Silk plants are supposed to be very realistic.

Plastic one look like they suggest. Plastic.

i assume theres nothign wrong with using silk plants in a tank then, like colour leaching or anything ?

Tetra - Plantastics are modelled on the real thing

thanks for that they look pretty good from the online pics. seems a few companies do 'plantastics' aswell, hopefully i wont have to pay for the tetra name.

silk plants can look realistic if you pick the right ones, also vivarium plants work well so i've heard
