Hi guys, starting to set up my breeding tanks for my Apistos and I have 2 tanks right next to each other, each with a sponge filter in but would like an air pump with 2 outlets to power both off of one plug socket. Which is the best one out there for best value for money??

Needs to be powerful enough to run both sponge filters good enough to filter their respective 1ft tanks.

Thanks

you dont need to outlets. you can have a tube run into a splitter. so any decent pump will work.

thats a link to the splitters. you can also control the flow rate

Yeah I was running it on a splitter before and it was a bit pants that why I was gonna look for a new pump altogether and buy a decent one lol

tetra APS 300, just got second hand for £6 got a spares kit from ebay for another £6 changed the internals good as new :good:

I have been using the Rena pumps and find them great for noise levels and air flows. You would just need to select one tht matches your needs and has 2 outlets. I have been using their model 200 pumps for my own needs but they are single outlet air pumps with lots of capacity. I regularly split them to 3 or more tanks.
