Oh he has nice colors so far! I wish I could afford an arowana like him, but unfourtenetly I can't. Does he get along good with the gar? I remember reading that gars and arowanas are not good tankmates because they are both top swimming fish, I think you know what your doing though so I'm probably wrong.
the gar and aro get on fine now but when the aro grows up i doubt it will tolerate the gar but you never know
 
i heard that if you feed all the mealworms and crickets with carrots then feed them to the aro the carrotine colours up the red.

Nope thats true, I'ved always fed my super worms, locusts and crickets on carrot.

I believe HP does to for his aros too.
 
its true about the carrot

the best thing to feed the meal worms on is nutrafin spiralina flake and carrot

the leagle export size for asian aros is 6inch but they are normally 4-6inch when they arrie

try to stay away from crickets and locusts until the aro gets to say 10inch as i feel the shape legs are a bit to much of a risk for the aros gut at a small size

i put the gar in the 300 this afternoon so he has the tank to himself now
 
bichir went in the 300 a few days ago
oh i forgot the fire eel is still in the 100 too
im trying to get all the bottom dwellers out incase it brings on some drop eye on the aro
