Bamboo Shrimps

Anyhow,I initially bought three of them and I decided to call them "the three tenors".Unfortunately the biggest one(Luciano) died.

This is Placido,the middle size one.....

Getting rid of the old exo-skeleton.

Oh wow those are really cool looking shrimps!! I would really love to get some shrimps for my tank...but don't they all eat live plants? I wouldn't want them to destroy all my plants.

They take floating particles from the water with the fans on their hands, as seen in this picture:

Ok...yeah I can see that now I didn't think about it before )

Dwarfs is right.They use those fan like thingies to catch anything in th ewater or off the sand/gravel.
By the way,I've never seen any of them chew on my greens.
