Balloon Gourami?

I saw these 'Balloon Pearl Gourami' at my usual Fish Store in my capital city - never seen them before. Are they actually a different type of Gourami, or just deformed Pearl Gouramis?

i would assume there bred that way just like balloon rams, mollies platies

Looks deformed to me. That a particularly coloful one though, I just wish they'd leave nature alone sometimes.....................
