right after lotsa of experimenting i have finally managed to catch a batch of eggs again
yahoo.gif
but i'm pretty sure they are Mooranda's as my female (Bubbles the bronzed black oranda) has been hounded by the Black Moor(Gizmo) i have whereas the other Oranda(Coco the chocolate Oranda) seems to have a rubbish sense of smell as his face kinda covers his nose up?

But I actually witnessed one of the eggs hatching which was quite special had to stay up real late though but outta of about 20 eggs think i only had 5 hatch and i can only see 2 around the tank but they are like soooo widgey

so may have some fancy mooranda's going to any good homes soon?

Awesome! Thats really cool that you got babies!! I am sure once they get big enough and get photos, you'll be able to find wonderful homes for them :) Good luck getting them going.

That's great!  I have two fancy goldfish and have long wanted them to mate.  Problem is, they're different kinds, so...not much chance there LOL.  Good luck with your goldfish. What kind?

They're moor x oranda (probably!).

All the goldfish varieties can interbreed; there're just different breeds, not different species; of course, the babies won't be 'good' examples of either variety, just like mongrel puppies, but none the worse for that
