I think my betta Caine
320-4.jpg

May be dieing. He's been resting on the bottom of his tank for the past few days now. I did a water change since that usually perks him up a bit, but he's only gotten worse and has lost alot of color.
He did eat when I fed him earlier, but he's just not in very good shape. My poor lil betta :(

awww no this must be heartbreaking to watch, I hope he pulls through xxx

I'm gonna do another water change to see if that helps any. Add some aquarium salt too. I hate seeing him this way since he's usually really active.

im sry try to get this stuff stress coat and stress zyme it will make the fish have less stress stress coat is a really good dechorlinater stress zyme help my fis alot wit stres andd wat siz of tank is it in

stress zyme isnt a declor. nor will it do anything to help improve your fish. its a wast of money.

Well.. I did the water change, but he's only getting worse. He's most definitely dieing :( Me or fiance can't bring ourselves to euthanize him. He's resting in his plant right now. He's not much longer for this world I'm afraid.... :-(

My sisters male betta did the same thing last week before dieing. At least he was next to his children. Sorry to hear about your betta. If he doesn't pull through, bury him next to a plant.

well u never know he might be better tommorrow

He's gone :(
I'm going to miss you, you pretty fella :-(

He's still in his tank right now. Since it's the middle of the night, I'm going to wait til the morning to put him in my flower garden w/ the rest of the dead fishies.

*sigh* This is my first betta to have died. This really stinks b/c I hadn't even had him for more than a year. He was big-ish when I got him so I guess he was already older than the rest. It just extra stinks since he was acting totally normal the other day and then all of a sudden he's dieing like this and I can't do anything about it but watch him slowly pass away.

RIP my precious Caine. You're going to be sorely missed. :-(

Yeah, my g/f lost her/our betta last year. She fell behind on the water changes was the most likely problem. Poor Cielo went real slowly. Two to three (cannot remember) weeks of sluggish behavior. He was also trying to constantly swim downward as not to go belly-up.

Strange thing is, the night before he died, my g/f gave the glass a kiss. He was dead the next morning. Almost like he was waiting to say goodbye to her. Odd how this betta effected us both more than any other of the fishes in the past. Something about them that gives them character...

Sorry, to hear of him passing. We also buried ours in the backyard. Gave him a little gravel grave and whatnot... :(

Oh :(
I am so sorry Caine didn't make it
My heart goes out to you xxx
