Sorry to hear about Caine. The betta in my avatar is Bruce, my first fish(well, as a 5 year old I had the goldfish in a bowl setup, failed miserably) sorry for Caine.

I have no idea how old he was. I only had him for about.. hmm.. gosh I don't even know. Maybe 6 or 7 months. He was pretty big when I got him though *shrugs*

I haven't buried him yet.
Fiance gets up before me and turns on all the tank lights. Saw him dead in the tank (where I left him), and put him in a baggy for me and stuck him in the freezer. I'm going to bury him tomorrow.

If I can find another betta I like... I'll be getting another tomorrow. His aquarium will always be his, but another betta out there needs saving.

*sigh* I keep looking over at his tank and expect to see his little head poking out from under his bridge where he always slept
