Ended up leaving the auction early today as it was just starting to get good. Although was abit annoying when they began selling bikes? rollerblades? random tshirts? lol! Lots of books went for cheap, filters, air pumps etc... a 4ft fish tank went for £30 in good condition and hood (no one bidded :S )

Bought a whiteworm starter culture for a £1 just put them into a bigger tub, way more than i thought for a pound i thought i may aswell give it ago!

Just before I left they began selling a variety of angel fish that were very cheap, bags of two sold from £3.10-£5.00. Wish id have stayed longer but my #16##### was beggining to go numb and it took too long to get going.

Would love to go to some more in the future hopefully more fish based! :D

Where was it, I would love to go to a fish auction, only trouble is I couldnt tell my hubby where I was going

Bradford. The atmosphere was good some of the stuff was dirt cheap. You in the yorkshire area?

No midlands me, havnt really seen any advertised locally

I stayed til the end and was losing the will to live, didn't buy any fish and only got a 2nd in show for my betta simplex. The big tanks sold to my mate kenny he just left it at the front til the end, he phoned his mate and sold it to him for £60 before the auction finished lol

Nice one saw some good bettas! Thats a good buy then haha. Was that the guy in sheaf valley AS? Did any good fish come up later on?

I bet if you googled near your area youd find something Star.

yeah hes in svas i am too, just a few odds and sods after the angels bought a random tank ornament and that was it. are you going to castleford auction on wednesday night it starts at half 7

Cant, although ive heard Castleford is meant to be a good one.

yep usually pretty good just a late finish. Last local auction of the year, thoght theres a charity auction in redditch on 5th december

Would you say its one of the better ones? What was the thing he mentioned about ferrybridge?

i thought it was meant to
be a fish and equipment auction
not bikes? Rollerblades? random t shirts?
they never sell anything like that
at the ones up north they would get booed
off

No idea lol took like 5-10mins to sell them individually cause no one wanted them in the end i think people bought them so they could carry on. Only reason i can think of them doing it was because someone donated them for the club to make some money. I would go back again though!

mind you they did sell one of my
lada's for me at one it broke down
and i couldn't get it home so i said
the auctioneer just get what you can for it
so an m reg lada went under the hammer i do
believe it nearly made £50  and we got a lift
home

Haha that is quality. You should have traded it for something!
