THEY BROKE IT!! Was doing a water change on my planted 55gal, the one with the eels in it. Heard a large pop and turn around to find that one of them has broken the diffuser! Tried to go between the main boby and the neck of the diffuser....... he made it through and came out unscathed.......... The diffuser on the other hand wasn't so lucky.

What a waste! I'm hopeing the littler one will stand a better chance.

this is why I'm using plastic ones, glass looks better, but less risk. Do you find the glass ones have any advantages over plastic? Cos I'm a newbie to planted tanks so maybe I'm missing something.

well what do you expect with 2ft eels in there! You might be better with a reactor
