Armoured Shrimp

I've had my Armoured Shrimp for about 3/4 months and so far I have not seen them shed their shells as I've seen them do in the LFS that I bought them from. I feed them a mixture of foods but do feed them Hikari Crab Cuisine mainly as they seem to love this.

I would have thought they would have shedded their outer armour shell by now???

It is possible that they have shed and the
skins have been consumed by the fish.
I thought that mine never shed but now
I'm always finding skins approximatly every 6 weeks or so.
I read some where that they need calcium in the ater to help shed but
I wouldn't go adding calcium unless you know what you are doing.
I guess that my water supply has a good amount of calcium in it as
I'm in kent and our water table is filtered throught the downs.
