Argos Play Sand,will This Be Alright For My Tank?

Off topic but I love that forest of grassy stuff on the right of your tank, is it some sort of Valis?

yeah its plain old valis, the tank has changed a little since that shot though. Its more bunched up now, the fish like it and go bananas around and through it.

If you wash the sand properly; and that means being totally ruthless about throwing out any prticles that don't sink instantly, even if you lose a bit of good sand along with it, it won't cloud your tank.

is that the children's play sand? I've heard good things about it too, but am too scared to use it incase it clouds up my water for good! let us know how it goes x

yes, playsand from Argos, empty it into a bucket, stir it around, empty off the top water, do that about 5 times and its perfectly clean to put in the tank. I didnt get mine go cloudy at all.
