Yeah sorry, its not really a size thing more territory and aggression - they are manageable in 10 gallons but ideally closer to 20 is more garunteed success - the APISTOGRAMMA EREMNOPYGE they have are gorgeous!! If I ever get my way and get my rack of tanks for dwarf cichlids they have wangled their way onto it

yup, they will need atleast 60, can get very territorial of their floor space.

Scarlet badis would do well in a 21 ltr or any other type of nano fish. You should be able to find a list of diff nano breeds via google x
