Arcadia Arc Tanks

Just wondering what these tanks are like for a planted shrimp tank and possible a couple of tetra or small scholing fish.

And is the filter loud on them or quiet? As it would be kept in my bedroom and I don't want the filter making a racket!

If any one owns one of these tanks would you be kind enough to share a couple of pictures of your tank / filter if possible?

i aint got one but from what ive seen in the shops they r decent and very quet

there are differnet sizes wat size u looking at

The filter that comes with them is tiny I swapped it out for a fluval U1 which is bigger and more imposing but does the job better.

As far as fish and shrimp go lots of options for you to consider really Chilli Rasbora, Dwarf cories, some of the smaller apistogramma species

I have this tank, filter is pretty good, mostly silent but i have been getting a little "buzzing" out of it lately..

Was the filter that came with it quiet? Just don't want to hear water trickleing all night while trying to sleep lol.

I was planning on using the tank for a planted shrimp tank, so the standard filter would be ok to use I guess?

Don't suppose you have any pictures of your tank do you?

The 35Lrt seen it for £50 new, the 20Ltr is £45 new, so may aswell pay an extra £5 for an extra 15Ltrs of space!

lol my tanks 34l u could have a shrimp tank and a shoal of tetras

i believe the arc tanks to be very good.

however i got one of the superfish aqua qube 40 tanks instead. they come with a better light and in my opnion look better and are cheaper

This tank doesn't come with a heater... what cheap but decent heater would you reccomend for a 35Ltr aquarium?
