Hey,

My Aquis 1000 us leaking please help! It is leaking where the pipe connects with the actual pump on the 'Out' side. It is connected properly. It seems that the leak is not where the pipes conncect, but where the bit where you screw it on connects to the pump itself. Any ideas what is wrong with it? I hope my desription helps!

Cheers,
Sanderson

Hello,

It's probably the 'O' ring seal in the valve...

Try this:

Remove the valve from the pipe.. Place it in a plastic container and run very hot water through the valve for a couple of minutes.

Cool the valve and dry off. Now smear the contact surfaces within the valve with something like (food grade) silicon grease and refit.
I use this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HT-Silicone-Grease-Tub-60ml-Pot-Food-Industry-Approved-/251248970672?pt=UK_DIY_Materials_Plumbing_MJ&hash=item3a7f9b0bb0

Don't overtighten anything on refitting.

Good luck!
