Aquatics Shop Advertising For Free Fish?

So its changed from the large tanks at home to the large display tanks in the shop? well unless they have had a massive re-vamp and extension built since thier website pictures, I cant see any massive display tanks. The shop itself is tiny, I went there last year when it was called something else!

I can't see anything wrong with a shop asking for free fish to then sell on. What I can see a problem with is making someone think that they are doing otherwise.

how could you prove its false advertising? not thaty i'm disagreeing. i just think it would be impossible as he could just state well i was going to put them in this tank but it cracked or something along those lines. and i had to put them in my shop. personally i see nothing wrong is advertising for free fish, but spamming is just annoying he should just pay like the 2p a day to pin his add.

Its acutally unfair to the other shops that advertise on the site that pay for the advertising, so not only is he getting free fish, he is getting free advertising!

Oh please do, I would love to know how he is going to get all the fish he is advertised for into the tanks he claims to have.

My lfs took my 12" plec but wouldn't give me anything for it as they said "they don't sell, will be here months if not years" Was in the following week and a guy was buying my plec for £25. Was a bit miffed as if he'd given me £5 he'd still have made £20 a week later.I know it was mine, recognised him!

Why not advertise him on here or other places online? you will get some money then and you can question the person your selling to to make sure they can properly look after the big fella,

I for one would of been extatic to be able to get a plec like that for £5 + delivery and could of assured you he would of got a good home...

ive got a 6ft tank of my own at home i did have a variety of little fish but ive recently cleaned all my tank took my little fishe to the shop because ive got a teacup, motoro and hystrix stingrays on order, to be honest in mind ive already chose what fish i want which are
pair of silver arrowana, 3 stingrays, large fire eel, datnoids, meradontotus tigrinus catfish (very rare), red tail catfish, leporinus, silver shark catfish, denisoni barbs and a few angel fish etc lol is there all on order ive placed my deposits on them so hopefully shoud go and get them in a couple of weeks if not about a month that way it gives my tank abit of time to settle. so do you think its a good choice of fish and yes definatly no hard feelings.

selling, any, common pleco is hard. (most just dont have the tank for them) but an ad here, offering a pleco to be rehoused, may well be the best option. you will, at least, be offering them to people who want the fish. not just wanting profit.

If im not mistaken thats way overstocked, especially the rays.

He better have some kick #16##### seeded filter media, and Mahoosive filtration capacity for that little lot to all go in a new tank at once!
