Just wondering if anyone's used Aquabid.com to get those species you can't find at your LFS? What has your experience been like there?

I think your experience will be different with every seller. I've bought fish online from several different sources. AquaBid being one of them, I can say it was a fair experience but one of the fish I paid 30.00 for didn't survive the trip and the seller wouldn't refund. So...in the past I've bought 10 fish online, 6 of them survived being shipped , pretty risky.
