I find the API nitrate test tube color results difficult to match up to their color chart often. The Nyos color chart has gradations of yellow merging to orange. For my eyes this is much easier to read. Plus they have a nice set up. The top test tube contains 5 mL of just tank water. No reagents. The bottom tube has the tank water and reagents.
