Anyone Tried This

when i set up my tank im going to slant the pebbles and make a cave

i dunno if the fish will use it but has anyone tried this

Sounds OK - just be sure there secure otherwise you might get a flat fish.

im using a exo terra cave for reptiles as a support

i wonder i they lay eggs in the cave

so you mean has anyone ever buried something to make a cave?


sounds like good idea if the gravel everywhere else isnt too low to make it look natural.

maybe use silicon and stick pebbles to the outside of your support? so they dont come off.

jus took a plant pot (well, half of one) out my tank cos it was the only thing that looked unnatrual in theres.


a few pebbles stuck to the silicon would soon solve that tho.

I use flat pieces of natural slate from my lfs... and 'build' a structure with plenty of nooks, crannies and caves...

yea i used Limestone to do the same in my cichlid tank but i think hes talkin one small cave rather than a bigger pile of rocks.
