Hi I have kept and bred several different types of tortoise over the years. Not breeding every year now . Raising youngsters well to a decent size can be time consuming. As I get older I don't want to spend as much time collecting wild plants for their diet as I need to. I have returned to fish keeping but may well become as obsessive with them as the tortoises.

I couldn't possibly narrow it down to just one species. Probably couldn't even narrow it down to ten.

They bond to the whole family.... in the wild they live in colonies and bond with everyone. They do have a stronger bond with their caretaker but they bond with the whole group
