Newt Terrarium Stocking Ideas?

Hello! 2 years ago, I picked up a reptile tank from a recycling center and it has held water for 2 years. I just released my frog back into the wild and was considering turning the tank into a terrarium for newts and similar species! I am planning to have a 75% water space with a 25% land space and I will definitely be purchasing Eastern Newts, my long time "bucket list" animal. What else should I put in? I was considering crested newts from Europe but don't know if that sort of mixing would be sacrilege.

I can provide tank dimensions if needed (needs slight repair to fit screen cover).

Mixing is indeed a poor idea. Mixing a small, delicate North American species with a large, robust European species would probably be a disaster, in every way.

Yes, thank you! I learned of this shortly after I made this original post. If this works out, I'll probably just purchase some trapdoor snails from my LFS.
