i have used a treatment for gill worms "and other worm infections" called JBL Gyrodol but i dunno if it worked, have gotta wait for plecs etc to poop

It sounds more like an external med to me.
Fish can get internal flukes aswell.

states on box against gill worms and other worm infections, for aquarium fish in freshwater and saltwater.

instructions says:

gill worms (dactylogyrus) skin worms(gyrodactylus), and tapeworms (cestodae) with all the symptoms too

hope i havent just wasted £8.45

the plecs poop seems browner mind
