Grindle worms are an ideal food for very small baby fish , regular feedings helps with growth and keeps fish in good condition also good for all adult fish, There’s many ways to culture Grendel worms. I keep mine in multipurpose compost and feed the worms with ready break once established they multiply very fast so worms should be removed fed to fish and worms left in container should be fed on a daily basis,

Problems that may occur, any uneaten or leftover food will soon decay and attract springtails (little white bugs hopping about. if they fall in tank when feeding fish they will eventually get eaten, they do no harm to fish or worms, the biggest problem I occasionally have is the infestation of a tiny wild fly they are a nuisance and are very difficult to get rid of ,if worms get to overpopulated the whole culture can crash,

Yummm?

I use whiteworms. I haven't been able to get my paws on grindals, which is what the larger worms were labeled as when I got them. Still, the cultures are years old (with container and substrate changes). They're superb for conditioning my killies, and for growing my juvenile young.

How do you keep your white worms ,what substrate do you keep them in and what temperature ? Are you keeping them in a plastic or wooden container? At the moment I have some outside but don’t seem to be doing very well. Over here they seem to be difficult to get established there’s always live food available at Fish auctions but very very rare would you see white worm
