hay leongreen way or whatever your name is wy r u just reading and not replying i could use some posotive input here!!!! :/

I personally think one in a 70Litre would be OK (not ideal) fro a time.
It just depends on how many other fish are in your tank.

I am not sure that I would Mix a Calvus with American Cichlids though

Mate,

I could advise all sorts of Ideal situations, there alot you could do.

can you just remind me of what youve got at the moment

Sorry cant be arsed to go through the post

Dr Holmes, please do not put a Calvus in that 180 tank. It is already MASSIVELY overstocked!!!

The tyre track eel on its own is too much IMO. It will grow to up to 3 foot long and is brackish, not freshwater!!

This is without mentioning these and their adult sizes: -

Severum - 8 inches
Clown loaches (x3) - 12 inches = 36 inches+
Apollo Shark - 8 inches
Jurapari - 14 inches
Blood Parrot - 8 inches++
Gibicep Plec - 18 inches

The gouramis will each max out at around 4 inches and I haven't even taken into account the red finned loach, the Syno or the Dora.

Besides their sizes (and the fact you are keeping a potentially 3 foot brackish monster in a 180 litres freshwater tank) there is also the aggression factor, which I am not gonna go into. :/

Without meaning to appear rude....have you actually ever done any research on the fish you keep?

 :hyper: :hyper:   :hyper:  :alien:  :hyper:

they are freshwater i think that guy add's tonic salt and reakon it means he has a brackish tank. it also doesn't really look like a tyre track. notice the fish in the back gorund aswell, there american cichlids which are freshwater.

they can be put in brackish tanks up to a certain extent but prefer freshwater.
