So you think a consistent tank temperature is a bad thing??? Of course without AC we can't necessarily easily control higher temps in summer, but unplugging a heater in summer just makes little sense to me....since it just won't come on much of the time anyway. Now a comfortable room temperature is 70-72F. My display tank is set to 77F. I leave all my heaters plugged in and turned on...they just don't energize as much in the long two summer months here in the Northeast US.
