While syphoning out water from my tank during the weekly water change today one of my angel fish decided to get right up to the hose and have a look around, having got too close the pressure has pulled the poor beggar in.  Naturally I've quickly cut the syphon allowing the Angel to get away, however, on checking him over he appears to now have a swollen right eye.  I've fed the tank since and he's eating and swimming around normally.  Will this cure it's self or will it now say larger than the other eye?

I'd think it should go down. Make sure the water is very clean. :)

Even if it doesn't fix itself the fish is fine. How pretty the fish looks may seem important, but the comfort and safety of the fish should always come first.

Id just keep the water clean and watch him closely, nothing else seems to really be wrong with him.

Thanks for the replies.  Checked on him after work today and it appears to have gone down :)
