An Illustrated Article to the Bichir - Folio #1

Nice article has taken a while to get to. The Bichir look like a very interesting fish. You mentioned Garnet blast media in your article, what mesh size is typically used. I would normally use 20/40 but for garnet, hard to get here, I haven't found anything larger than 60.

I added a piece of driftwood to my tank. It’s manzanita, which I collected. It should sink in a few days (long story short I had it in water for weeks, took it out for a few days). He decided to rest on it! I have a Polypterus Palmas Palmas and a Polypterus Mokelembembe coming soon ;)197C0F00-B520-4D4D-9CEC-D89E8703F89A.jpeg0644B250-AAE6-44FE-9713-B3A108C97931.jpeg45D81DD6-ED7E-42C8-8216-78E6ECB0A260.jpeg73A9E0E1-A7C7-4A10-85EE-AD3C3F9F7062.jpeg
