Ok.. so I did a fishless cycle.. I dumbed 12ppm of ammonia in everyday for a month till it was completely cycled and there wher eno nitrItes and ammonia was gone bye the next day.. then i added fish and stopped adding ammonia.. the ammonia then started to climb.. so atfer three days of prime treatment.. I seeded it with goldfish filter media.. this stopped ammonia for two days.. then today i notice my cories barbels are TINY! and I test ammonia.. liek i do everyday and it is 0.50!!

What the devil is going on?!!!! :-( :-( :-( :-(

How long did you wait between the last dose of ammonia and adding the fish?

Regardless, your tank is back in a cycle, so begin doing daily water changes and also watch out for signs of infection, especially with the eroding barbells.

eroding? V_V poor guys.. the last does of ammonia was the day before.. once it got low enough were fish would be put in and be safe. :/ but my question is.. how can it be fine for 2 days then stop? I mean those goldfish tank media noddles are bact filled.

it shouldn't have died off that quickly. How many fish did you add to what size of tank?
 ugh.. that canister filter is cursed I say... the ammonia is now definatly (three tests one with a different kit) zero. this is the same thing it did on my goldfish tank.. ugh..

plants come today!
