I think that the desk looks sort of flimsy. I would be careful . . . otherwise

Was the desk flat-packed, or did you buy it "as is". If it was flatpacked then maybe there is weight guidelines on the instructions. If you bought it in, then maybe you could contact the store?

Failing that, follow your gut instincts... does it wobble about? does it feel safe?
