Alge question

Ok i was checkin out my tank everything gravel fish filter heater, and i was checkin out the filter and senn where it sucks up the water the is some hairy lookin algey and where the water flows out there is some growing.

Should i let it be or scroub it off?

Sounds like hair algae. Remove it before it populates the rest of the tank.
