Fish Crazy
I noticed the other day that my pool sand in my 55 gal. was turning light green at certain spots. I don't have an algae eater and will go on vacation for two and half weeks 6 days from now. Thought I'd get a bristlenose pleco when I get back, the algae is also starting on the sides. Told my wife that we need to keep the lights off a little more, and I think I'm going to cut back a bit on my feeding until I'm able to get an algae eater. Do you think this will help? Also while we are gone I will keep the lights out during the whole time, that might help with the problem a little.
