Enthusiastic "Re-Beginner"
I'm really fully prepared to accept that the lack of enough CO2 is the main thing behind the diatoms and the BBA (and the lack of phosphates, the GSA) but I was hoping to play with adding the Nano, thereby increasing the circulation quite a bit, to perhaps gain some direct feel for which things might show a lessening of the diatoms. I wonder which factor, the two 15 watt T8 tubes over the 28G/106L, the excel instead of pressurized or the less than 10x turnover might be the biggest factor in the continuing diatoms. Its only been a short time with the new Nano, so if its going to help I might not be seeing it yet.
