Algae On Gravel

How do you clean algae off gravel? or is it by moving the gravel around it kills the algae and/or doesnt let it settle onto the top layer?

half lighting and improve circulation, also do more frequent water changes for the next few weeks, to remove any algal spores.

Is it brown algae? if so it is caused by ammonia.

Its more of a hairy algae but i did find some brown algae so should i just do more frequent water changes?

definitely increase circulation and half the lighting, if its hairy you want to cut back on water changes, as unstable CO2 stimulates this type.

its a 25 gallon us how much would one of thoughs nano's cost? and would i have to get it shipped most likly?

The koralia nanos retail at about £25-30 and are available online. if your filter allows it, you could try fitting a spray bar to improve things but I can't see it making a noticeable difference.

At 25 gallons, try one of the power heads made for a 20 gallon tank. They will stir the water well without blowing all of the fish around too much.
