Advice, Tank Is Here But..

Great tank! You will be able to do lots of things with it. The tahiti sand is lovely, sets off nicely the colours of the fish. What are you planning on keeping in there?

Great, a puffer! Gets pretty large this puffer, so yes you will need the space!

Sure! Are you planning to turn it into a Nile biotope then? Will be something very exotic...

What about the following species: Ceratophyllum, Potamogeton pectinatus and P. crispus, or the tiger lotus. And Pistia stratiotes (water lettuce) as a floating plant?

Ahaaaa! that is super cool! Its sooooo big! I think thats a great idea, rather than having lots of sall tanks, just buy the one BIG tank!!

Would love to see whats going to inhabit it! (keep us updated please...! )

Well I have a baby fahaka on order with two LFSs so see who gets there first with a good specimen. Already have a name in mind, will post pics as the tank progresses (be good to get ideas from you and opinions, as never had to decorate a gigantuin!). Thanks very much on the suggestions Biulu, certainly give me something more to research xx

Here are some pics of the tank set up with black sand and some live and silk plants, was planning on getting some bogwood but wondering if what I have currently will be enough as may need to thin as he grows?
