Adding Bog Wood To Tank

I would like to add Bog wood to my tank. My tank has already got fish in would the ph drop to quick and stress the fish.

Guess it would depend on the size of wood, if your water is like mine higher ph at water chnage just add then

Bogwood changes the pH only slightly and not very quickly. It won't cause a pH crash or shock your fish or anything like that.

when i added bogwood that had been soaked for 3 weeks saw my PH slightly drop from 8.4 to 7.8 , has remained stable over 12 days now at 7.6- 7.8 so not a 'crash' as such.
