Once I put my room back together I'll be back at me desk, so I can sit down and do more banners.

And I only spent about $100 out of everything. Let's just say I have a VERY loving boyfriend...and he understands my obsession for fish. 

....Mind if I borrow him sometime?

Haha, I used to have someone who didn't understand that.. I came home fron Big Al's with some new bettas and pygmy cories and he flipped.

New guy = much more understanding. He's from here.

Well the reason why my 10 gallon cost 100$ is because we didn't cycle it and threw bunch of fish in it. We even had a peacock eel in there for awhile! We gave it to a friend though after I learned it would eat our tetras and get HUGE.

Yea, you can borrow my boyfriend anytime. I'll ship him on over along with the 120 gallon.

I'm betting you bought everything the same day from the LFS and they didn't tell you about cycling.. I hate when they do that!
But hey, you've got a 120g and I'm jealous, so who cares?!

Well hey, if the 120 comes with the boyfriend.. That's 20g bigger than Dan's tank!

Yea he definately wins if he's getting you a 500 gallon. My boyfriend wants a big saltwater but that will have to wait until we move out together. I am only 17 right now.

If you go to university though, that's going to have to wait unless you live off campus.. highest tank allowance I've heard of is a 20 gallon.
It's a 5 gallon limit here but my don loves me, and doesn't care that I have a 15, a 10, and 7 bettas.

It'd be a loooong time before that 500g though.. so in the mean time I get to drool over his 100g.

Yea I wouldn't be able to live on campus without my 120 gallon. I would just have to live at home or something and drive everyday. I love my tank so much. Now I just need a really good piece of driftwood and some rocks.

The green "cory" likes laying under a small amazon plant...but he looks so lonely under there. His friend didn't make the 10 gallon tank disaster. The albino (one-eyed Jack) kind of just rummages through the gravel and scoots along by himself. He is so funny. I have this large sword plant in the right corner of the tank and he will swim to one of the leaves and just sit on the leaf. He is so tiny compared to the leaf.  He makes me laugh. I might pick up some albino cories this weekend. 

If you get enough albinos, the green 'cory' would probably join in and hang out with them.

I love their cute little rummaging habits.. all of my pygmies have started following the panda, but the peppered cory just gets ignored.. he blends into the sand!

yeah. I bought 4 "albino" cories but one was an albino pygmy. It hung out with my brochis instead of the albinos. Now after somne sort of cory crash i have 2 brochis and an albino that all school together

You found albino pygmies?

It was an accident. I thought it was an albino aeneus when i picked up 4

Well my dad always says this, "You can get as MANY fish as you'd like and as many tanks as you'd like as long as they don't crap on the floor and need to go to the vet."

So basically I can have as many fish and tanks as I can afford. Plus I have a great boyfriend that understands how much I love fish. Although we got into an arguement today over which is better...saltwater or freshwater. I was at the LFS trying to get him to look at the more colorful tropicals so maybe he would change his mind and appreciate how pretty they really are and he didn't buy it. He just walked over towards the saltwater and stared at them the whole time. Everytime I would pick out a fish I liked in the freshwater section he would give me "the look" like it is ugly and I shouldn't get it.

Then he picks out an adult red devil

Men are so confusing sometimes. It just got me mad and I yelled at him in the store. Not a good thing when you want him to buy you your test kit because you have no money. )

I apologized later on though and we made up...somewhat.

Ex-boyfriend tells me to do whatever makes me happy, and he knows that involves buying fish.
So I go to Big Al's with best friend and come home with new fish, new heater, and new sand.
I tell him, thinking he'll be all excited about the new fish cos they were kinds he'd like.
What does he do? Yell at me. Lots. For spending money on fish.
He used to come to the LFS with me all the time, now he avoids it, even knowing that the guy that works there hits on me and tries to touch my butt all the time. ..He even bought his own betta he used to love it so much.

There's a reason why he's an ex now.. *Sigh.*

So I go to Big Al's with best friend and come home with new fish, new heater, and new sand.
I tell him, thinking he'll be all excited about the new fish cos they were kinds he'd like.

Well he constantly tries to "convert" me from freshwater to saltwater. It is like being from two different religions sometimes I swear. I love him though. We've been together for 2 years. He actually brought up a fish tank for christmas and I started looking online at fish and got really "hooked" on it. So I told him that is what I wanted. We started out with a ten gallon with rainbow gravel and rainbow caves. But who doesn't right?

Yea we also don't really have the money do to a saltwater. We are supposed to be saving up for moving out. Well this was my very first tank and I picked out the gravel and he picked out the matching rainbow cave. So I guess we both had part in the awful 10 gallon. I would hate it if I were a fish in a tank like that.

I think I am going to convert my 29 gallon into my 120 gallon. Add all the fish into the 120 gallon instead of going with the oscar and more aggressive fish.
