as shes a girl, and short finned, she'd be a faster and stronger swimmer than her male long-finned counterparts.
although the mix isn't perfect, it could be worth a go, every betta has a different personality anyway. females tend to fair better in communities than males.
try it but keep a VERY close eye on her. maybe invest in a 4 gallon (6 litre) kritter keeper as a back up, they only cost a few bucks anyway, and would be handy if you need to dose the tank for any infections and she needs to be seperated.
