Hello, I'm Carolyn Renner, and I am incredibly passionate about planted aquariums. There's something truly enchanting about creating a miniature underwater garden that thrives and flourishes right before your eyes. As an avid enthusiast of this captivating hobby, I find myself constantly immersed in the world of aquatic flora, seeking new ways to elevate my planted aquariums to extraordinary levels.

My journey into the realm of planted aquariums started with a simple fascination for the mesmerizing beauty of underwater gardens. As I began to delve deeper into the art of aquascaping, I realized that there was so much more to it than just placing plants in water. It became a form of self-expression, a way to bring the tranquility of nature into my home, and a means to create a harmonious ecosystem for my fish.

Over the years, my love for planted aquariums has grown, and it has become a way of life for me. I am continually learning and experimenting with different plant species, substrates, and hardscape elements to design breathtaking underwater landscapes. The joy of watching my plants flourish, the thrill of finding the perfect arrangement of rocks and driftwood, and the satisfaction of creating a natural habitat for my fish keeps me endlessly motivated in this journey.

Through my work and interactions with the aquarium community, I hope to inspire others to embrace the wonders of planted aquariums and discover the joy and serenity that these underwater havens can bring to our lives. Whether you're a seasoned aquascaper or just starting, I invite you to join me on this extraordinary adventure into the captivating world of planted aquariums. Together, let's unlock the magic and beauty that lies beneath the water's surface.

I have no musical ability, I can't draw and I don't like to write. But I've found the one creative outlet I have is putting plants in glass boxes of water. So I completely understand this post.

Hello Carolyn. Aside from the plant keeping hobby, I must comment on your knowledge of the written form of the English language, I'd be as interested in your background as much as your experience with aquarium plants.

And, welcome to this forum.
