Hi there folks!

I had a bright idea to start a garden aquarium. That is, an aquarium that was all (or mostly) plants. It would be somewhere in the neighbourhood of 5 gallons (I haven't bought the tank yet, but that is more than likely the size it's gonna be).

I wanted to put in some flowering plants. Would anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

I realize that plants need CO2, but I wanted to keep the animals to a minimum or not at all. Any suggestions on how to keep the CO2 levels up?

Thanks for your help.

On the CO2 question you can either do a DIY CO2 unit or purchase one. See The Krib

A lot of the plants actually flower above the water line so I suppose this is what you had in mind?
