A Good Day For The Guppydude

As you go farther and farther down a strain u do run across complications such as deformation, sterlity, and essentially fish that arnt too hardy. I have been extreamly lucky so far, but i will be adding a new stain after the fourth generation as i do not wish to ruin the whole project. Its just a matter of coming up with the right strain to add to mine, i did some serious hunting from one fish store to another to find the grandparents, but aquabid looks to be the easiest way to go about it :D

grats! i have alott of guppies i'm planning on selling to the LFS pretty soon.

your tank seems to be a big algeed up? is that normal...im not being rude im just still new cheers "H"

I knew someone would ask. :D The alge in the fry tank provides my pleco with food, and its good for the fry's digestion, they eat alot of it. And in the main tank i have an alge eater who munches on it. I dont know about anyone else but i actually like the alge on my tanks, makes for a nice green background, just gotta scrape it off the front glass panel every once in a while. And iv gotta alot of airation so i dont gotta worry about the alge takeing up too much oxygen.

The fry are now big enough to swim with teh big boys, and no sooner did i move them over did my moma guppy starte popin out new ones

haha perhaps spader can get one or two, or ten
Heh, of course you can, the last spawn has 17 survivers, not quite big enough to sell off thogh :)

I dont have alot of hope for this newest spawn, the female has had like 2-5 fry and has stopped, and their very weak looking too, very small -_-

umm..this might be a dumb question..but what do you mean by 'generation'
is it like...the first fish you get is the 1st generation..and then their fry will be the second and so on...
??

.my guppies are up to the 3rd generation im trying to stop the inbreeds from here im going to get rid of the all these fry so that the chain stays strong i may buy so more for a different tank and breed two generations of them and breed both my 3rd gens together and see what happens

yes but they wont be the last i get from these guppies will i i wont get rid of them all any way because i always fall in love with 1 or 2
