What kind of cichlid is this? He's beautiful.

Its a geophagus thayeri (threadfin acara). It is a beautiful fish. We only got them a few days ago and it was star who identified them for us as the lfs had just advertised them as geos

Seeing your gorgous male convict has made me miss my 4 boys, they were huge. I WANT a salvini even more now, and the jag *sulk sulk* cant have one.
