ID please

Looks to me like 2 females. I am not on my final verdict but you can observe how they behave and look each other to confirm.

If it is 2 females, they shouldn't chase each other or mind each other so much, two males will start to bicker and a pair will behave like a pair (chasing and displaying)

Since you see the fish live, you can identify it yourself through a few factors:
  • Females have a rounder belly
  • Males have a larger dorsal fin that is more pointy, think broad. Females normally have a much smoother dorsal
  • Males have a dark spot under their mouth which they normally get near maturity
You mentioned that they are at least 3 months old. Sexing is very difficult until about 4 months, and full maturity at 6 to 8 months of age.

The two do get on well sometimes both moving around together and individually.

The number of times they use the log is interesting too.
