Will try and get more pics of him/her but I warn you it may take quite a while to get pics up. Me and photobucket don,t work well together. Our maybe I,m just stupid. Yip my family agree.I,m just stupid.
I'd like to see some more of the Electric Blue Jack He looks like he's got great finnage, certainly makes up for his mottled colouration. Not the strongest strain of EB i've ever seen, but an impressive fish none the less.
Got more photos of EBJD, Jag and my JD. They're not great. At the minute the Jags in the naughty tank in the garage so its not living in the lap of luxury while its waiting for its fate to be decided
Thanks everyone for your comments. They're all still very young
Yeh its one of our first impulse buys. (theres been alot of them) Thought they might cause some trouble but so far they've been ok and theyre healthy enough. We originally had all african but managed to get rid of them all except jewels
Stunning Jack, and your EB Jack is nice also. The variations of Electric Blue gene vary so much with different people trying, yours is never one i've been a fan of. Its nice in its own way, but not to my taste. He certainly does have great finnage though, those shapes are so bold!
Your regular Jacks looks to be about 4" long, correct? I would say your EBJD is male and your regular JD is female? At a glance it seems so. Have you had any signs of spawning at all between them? Questions questions questions, i love Jacks
your correct with the ebjd being male and other female and its only in the last few days that their showing real interest in each other with a lot of showing off, so far both have been very good aggression wise towards the others in the tank but time will tell, they have their own corner and will put the others back but not with real aggression so far.
