90 Gallon Stocking

get a pair of arowana and a motoro ray for the bottom, they would look awesome. you may need a bigger tank in a few years time though

Ah fishkazy it appears you do live up to your name, literally lol no offence indended really but some of your advice is highly amusing, the only problem is some people might take it and end up with the wrong fish for the tank so you should check stuff before you write it. What happened to your oscars and stuff any ways? You still got them?

And to answer the post, why not something like oscar, silver dollars, some sort of large cat maybe one thats been suggested already, bichir? some kind of eel maybe?

I had to get rid of my Oscars... got to big too quick... I was planning on upgrading to a 200+gallon tank but my mom wouldn't let me :( so I've restarted their old tank (55 gallon) as a new community tank...

a pair of arowanas?! In a 90 gallon tank!??!?!?! We went over the arowana part, but they need a tank atleast 6ft long!! wow and a pair dude Arowanas get to like 1.5ft in less than a year (atleast my buddies 3 did 500gallon tank only 3 arowanas and 2 oscars :D)
anyways, we've gone over that Arowanas get way to big way to fast for a 90gallon tank! and my advice should come with a don't listen tag...

in a few years he will have a motoro with a 24" disc that will cover half his tank and 2 x 2 feet long arowanas

and i thought your advice was bad

Yeah that's what I was thinking. They are fun/cool fish to watch and keep.

I don't know, they have always fascinated me on how they move together and feed together in harmony. It is very interesting to watch. Plus they scare people haha...

Yes i have to agree the pihranas are out i would like to keep a variety of larger fish. Im going to look into the catfish.

And how will green terrors and oscars grow in comparison to each other i know that oscars are very fast growing but i have no experience with green terrors. I would like to keep them as close to each others size to avoid any unseen complications.

Would the lima shovelnose work in this tank theyve had one at my LFS for about 2 months now its about 6 inches long?

I like the idea of a midas too i will keep on researching and thanks for all of the help!

Edit:

So now i am looking at

2 Oscars
1 Green Terror
1 Midas or Jack Dempsey
1 Lima Shovelnose

Any problems?
