first of all i calculated my tank to be 27l but when i actually filled it up it was 60l so im happier now.

the question is, what fish do i put in it.

i was thinking

1 male betta
5 pepper corys
5 otos
and maybe some snails?

can anybody see any problems with this. i will probably add the corys and the snails one the cycle is done and then add the otos and betta later on.

can somebody tell me what snails are best?

thanks

1 male betta
10 harlequin rasboras
6 pygmy cories ( make sure there pygmy!) as the footprint wont be that big.

nerite snails are good, they wont over-run a tank and they eat tones of algae

ok cheers, can i ask where you get your fish from. i know my lfs sells bettas but i have never seen any pygmy corys there or harlequin rasboars or snails there?

awsome, thats the nearst one to me and im apply for a job there as well!

so do i tell them i want 10 resboras and they order in a whole lot and when i go in i just as for ten? is that how it works. any extra costs?

harlequins with a betta?????????
bettas are best left alone with corys and snails/shrimp in my opinion as bettas can get tetratorial and aggressive with other fish

most bettas are ok with harliquins due to there no agressive behaviour and not being brightly coloured
